Jaywalker is fortunate to have the expertise of Chef Brian Trom who came to Jaywalker from the Ritz-Carlton in Aspen, Colorado.
Brian developed a manual for the Jaywalker U students so they can learn to plan meals, do the grocery shopping and the cooking. Unlike a typical cookbook, the manual that Chef Brian developed contains grocery lists for each meal, in addition to the recipe. The grocery lists include items needed for the recipe in addition to the quantities.
Chef Brian will also be joining the students a few times during the semester to teach them the art of cooking delicious meals. Brian cooks daily at Jaywalker Lodge and his kitchen is welcoming and instructive. He graciously greets all into his kitchen and teaches as he cooks by explaining what he is making, the seasoning he is using, and methods of how he will be cooking the meal.
